Kakaram is a small village of 199 hectares in Karchhana Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kakaram depends on naini, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Kakaram's pin code is 212301[4], and village code is 05552000. The area of Kakaram is segregated as 127 hectares irrigated area, 49 hectares unirrigated area. the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Kakaram has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kakaram is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2711 and has total administration over 410 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1131 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 686 male, 445 female with 755 (66.76%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 522 males and 233 females. 95 males and 35 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 250 male and 50 female agricultural labor. 376 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of naini and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
