Victor Wooten

Victor Wooten is an American bassist and composer who is often praised for his advanced slap bass style. He has played with famous artists such as Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, Steve Bailey, Dave Matthews, and Chick Corea. One of his most famous compositions is "Classical Thump", which is noted for its extreme difficulty. The piece consists largely of slap bass, and showcases his innovative "double-thumb" technique.
