The Brothers Karamazov

From Conservapedia

The Brothers Karamazov was written by Fyodor Dostoyevsky and is considered perhaps the greatest novel ever written. It was first published as a serial in The Russian Messenger from January 1879 to November 1880. A translation from its original Russian is freely available online.[1] At 206,000 words, it takes about 20 hours to read.

Unlike classical British literature, this novel contains references to the Bible and addresses themes in it. The Lord is mentioned dozens of times, the Bible is mentioned 5 times and directly quoted from many additional times, and entire chapters are devoted to Christian biblical themes, such as The Grand Inquisitor (Book V, Chap. V) and Cana Of Galilee.[2]
