The New York State Subsidies for Urban Renewal, Proposition 3, also known as Proposition 3, was on the ballot in New York on November 2, 1965, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was defeated. This measure would have amended the "Public Housing law by increasing by $13,500,000 the maximum aggregate amount of State subsidies in regards to low-rent housing and urban renewal purposes."[1]
