ETA is a small village of 5200 hectares in Suratgarh Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. ETA depends on RAWATSAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. ETA is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. ETA's pin code is 335805[4], and village code is 00292300. The area of ETA is segregated as 3901 hectares unirrigated, the 1132.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 116 hectare area not available for cultivation.

ETA is a census village in the district of Ganganagar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2318 and has total administration over 411 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 1507 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 803 male, 704 female with 707 (46.91%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 575 males and 132 females. 377 males and 108 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 29 male and 8 female agricultural labor. 800 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAWATSAR and Ganganagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
