Valencian Community

From Conservapedia

Community of Valencia (Spanish: Comunidad Valenciana) is an autonomous region in eastern Spain on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, the capital is Valencia.[1]

The region is bordered to the north by Catalonia, and to the south by Murcia, being subdivided into (north to south) Castellon, Valencia and Alicante provinces. The region is noted for it's citrus fruits, which are famous throughout Europe. The province is also home to the largest palm plantation in Europe (and one of the largest in the world), in Elche, which likely dates back to the Carthaginian era (5th century BC). It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
