Khijirpur is a small village of 125 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Khijirpur depends on Handia (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Khijirpur's pin code is 221502[4], and village code is 05566800. The area of Khijirpur is segregated as 103 hectares irrigated area, the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Handia (NP) and Allahabad to sell beedi(indian ci and make their living.
