Limit (Mathematics)

In mathematics, the term limit can refer to two different but related concepts. Limit of a function is used to describe the behavior of a function as its argument approaches some value. On the other hand, limit of a sequence is used to describe behavior of a sequence's element as its index becomes arbitrarily large.
