Chandapur is a small village of 228 hectares in Akbarpur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandapur depends on RAMBABA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Chandapur's pin code is 224152[4], and village code is 06122700. The area of Chandapur is segregated as 156 hectares irrigated area, 39 hectares unirrigated area. the 25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 8 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAMBABA and Ambedkar Nagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
