Florida Supreme Court

From Conservapedia

Florida Supreme Court is comprised of seven Justices who must reside in Tallahassee, Florida, where the Court sits, and who have a mandatory retirement age of 70. Each is appointed by the Governor of Florida.

In late 2008, Republican Governor Charlie Crist has the first opportunity to give the Court a Republican majority.[1] Previously dominated by Democratic appointees, the Court had held in favor of Al Gore in 2000 and subsequently holding against Terri Schiavo's parents and invalidating the nation's first statewide school voucher program.
