Constantinople Ii

The second Council of Constantinople ("Constantinople II") met in A.D. 553 to pronounce against leaders who continued to subscribe to elements of the heresy Nestorianism, especially Theodoret of Cyrrhus, Theodore of Mopsuestia, and Ibas of Edessa. It once again re-affirmed that Jesus is perfect in Godhead and humanity and is made known in two natures that concur in one person.[1]
