From Ballotpedia A Kings Mountain Mixed Drinks Vote was on the May 5, 2009 ballot in Cleveland County, North Carolina.[1] where it was approved.[2]
Almost 100 young people from the city have banded together on Facebook to try to bring the issue to a vote.
In 2006, citizens in nearby Cherryville and Bessemer City voted to allow restaurants to serve mixed drinks after passing a referendum by about 30 votes each.
