Habchar is a small village of 1306 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Habchar depends on Goredi Chancha, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Habchar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Habchar's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01850300. The area of Habchar is segregated as 917.7 hectares unirrigated, the 302.31 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 85.6 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Habchar has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Habchar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Habchar is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1214 and has total administration over 239 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 351 (28.91%) males constitute 174 (14.33%) of the population and females 177 (14.58%).

The workforce is 421 male, 413 female with 397 (47.6%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 282 males and 115 females. 191 males and 105 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 15 male and 7 female agricultural labor. 437 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Goredi Chancha and Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
