General Epistle

From Conservapedia

A General Epistle is a letter in the New Testament which was written by an early Christian to the entire community, rather than focusing on a specific audience.

These include the Epistles of James, Peter, John and Jude, and also the General Epistle of the Council of Jerusalem (Acts 15:23-29). Due to the unknown authorship of Hebrews it is also at times included in this category.
