Chharera is a small village of 995 hectares in Dausa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chharera depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 131.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chharera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chharera's pin code is 303505^[4], and village code is 01411300. The area of Chharera is segregated as 462 hectares irrigated area, 278 hectares unirrigated, the 140.53 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 114 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Chharera is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4427 and has total administration over 805 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

• Chharera has 735 children, 373 boys and 362 girls.
• Scheduled caste counts for 685 (15.47%) males constitute 364 (8.22%) of the population and females 321 (7.25%).
• Scheduled tribe counts for 2815 (63.59%) males constitute 1469 (33.18%) of the population and females 1346 (30.40%).

The workforce is 1016 male, 790 female with 1587 (87.87%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 914 males and 673 females. 594 males and 646 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 female agricultural labor. 219 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
