Szold, Henrietta:

Eldest daughter of Benjamin Szold; born at Baltimore, Md. Since 1893 she has been secretary of the literary committee of the Jewish Publication Society of America, and in connection therewith has translated Darmesteter on the Talmud (Philadelphia, 1897), and Lazarus, "Ethics of Judaism" ( ib. 1900). In association with Cyrus Adler she has edited the American Jewish Year Book, and, independently, has contributed numerous articles to the Jewish periodicals. She has attended for several years the classes of the Jewish Theological Seminary of New York.
