Beatrix

Queen Beatrix was born Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard on January 31, 1938 in Baarn, The Netherlands. She was the Queen Regnant of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, comprising the Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, and Aruba. She was the eldest daughter of Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard. On April 30, 2013 Beatrix abdicated in favor of her son Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.[1] She is a member of the Protestant Church of the Netherlands.[2]
