Suran is a small village of 231 hectares in Auraiya Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Suran depends on Auraiya (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,One canal and Two springs. Suran is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Suran's pin code is 206122[4], and village code is 04170200. The area of Suran is segregated as 195 hectares irrigated area.
Suran has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Suran has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Suran is a census village in the district of Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1723 and has total administration over 293 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 558 (32.39%) males constitute 289 (16.77%) of the population and females 269 (15.61%).

The workforce is 517 male, 49 female with 559 (98.76%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 512 males and 47 females. 149 males and 1 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 320 male and 30 female agricultural labor. 7 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Auraiya (MB) and Auraiya to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
