Oran (Rural) is a small village of 1872 hectares in Atarra Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Oran (Rural) depends on Oran (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Oran (Rural)'s pin code is 210203[4], and village code is 04825200. The area of Oran (Rural) is segregated as 1144 hectares irrigated area, 570 hectares unirrigated area. the 52 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 83 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Oran (Rural) has One post office (Oran B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Oran (Rural) has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Oran (Rural) is a census village in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 7128 and has total administration over 1280 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Oran (NP) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
