The Idaho Optional Forms of County Government Amendment, also known as House Joint Resolution 17, was on the November 8, 1994 ballot in Idaho as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure allowed the legislature to provide for optional forms of county government. The measure also allowed electors to retain the present form or select the optional form by majority vote.[1]
