Afl-Cio

From Conservapedia

The AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations) is a liberal organization of 55 national and international labor unions. The AFL-CIO is a coalition partner of the liberal coalition America Votes.[1]

The claimed mission of the AFL-CIO is to improve the lives of working families—to bring economic justice to the workplace and social justice to the United States.[2] However, the organization supports illegal alien workers who are employed in the place of American citizen workers.[3]

Support for Democrats and other organizations[edit]

The AFL-CIO gives money directly to the Democrats and 527 liberal organizations.[4] It also supported the Occupy Wall Street-movement.
