Recess

From Conservapedia

A recess is a temporary interruption of the Senate's (or a committee's) business. Generally, the Senate recesses (rather than adjourns) at the end of each calendar day.[1]

Recess is also the term for a break for Elementary School students to cut loose and play before getting into studies.
