Shekhupur is a small village of 83.92 hectares in Koil Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shekhupur depends on Atrauli (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shekhupur's pin code is 202128[4], and village code is 01322400. The area of Shekhupur is segregated as 75 hectares irrigated area, 4.03 hectares unirrigated area. remaining 4.89 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Shekhupur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Shekhupur is a census village in the district of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1965 and has total administration over 334 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Atrauli (MB) and Aligarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
