Majgawa is a small village of 282.5 hectares in Nanpara Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Majgawa depends on BALAI GAUN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Majgawa's pin code is 271855[4], and village code is 06433100.

Majgawa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Majgawa is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1564 and has total administration over 251 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Majgawa has 268 children, 119 boys and 149 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 473 (30.24%) males constitute 244 (15.60%) of the population and females 229 (14.64%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BALAI GAUN and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
