Pista is a small village of 142.2 hectares in Baberu Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pista depends on Bisanda Buzurg , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pista's pin code is 210121[4], and village code is 04808400. The area of Pista is segregated as 29.44 hectares irrigated area, 112.32 hectares unirrigated area. the 0.16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 15.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pista has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Pista is a census village in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2826 and has total administration over 552 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Pista has 557 children, 288 boys and 269 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 769 (27.21%) males constitute 406 (14.37%) of the population and females 363 (12.85%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1230 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 771 male, 459 female with 695 (56.5%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 577 males and 118 females. 400 males and 30 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 132 male and 77 female agricultural labor. 535 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bisanda Buzurg and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
