Pista is a small village of 142.2 hectares in Baberu Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pista depends on Bisanda Buzurg , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. The area of Pista is segregated as 29.44 hectares irrigated area, 112.32 hectares unirrigated area. the 0.16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 15.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.
