A dealership is a place where high-end products, such as automobiles, are sold to customers. . Aside from sales, dealerships provide maintenance and detailing for vehicles.

Most dealerships are either family owned or part of larger dealership groups. Tesla motors is currently the only company in America to sell vehicles directly from the manufacturer, which has caused controversy from dealer associations and state governments. However, states are reluctantly allowing Tesla to sell their cars.
