Wishaw

From Conservapedia

Wishaw, known as Wishae in Scots, is a postindustrial town in Lanarkshire, Scotland, developed on grid-pattern lines in the 19th century to service local iron works and coal mines. In 1996 an outbreak of food-poisoning in Lanarkshire which killed twenty people was traced to a butcher's shop in Wishaw. The town is represented in the Scottish parliament by Jack McConnell.

The town's most famous sons are Tom and Jack Alexander who form the popular singing duo The Alexander Brothers.

John Higgins, the 2007 world snooker champion is also from Wishaw.
