Ferrara

Ferrara is a city in the Emilia-Romagna Region, in northern Italy. The city has 132,221 inhabitants (2017).

Ferrara, which grew up around a fort over the River Po, became an intellectual and artistic centre that attracted the greatest minds of the Italian Renaissance in the 15th and 16th centuries.[1]
