Mirpur is a small village of 71.24 hectares in Kaiserganj Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mirpur depends on KAISERGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Mirpur's pin code is 271903[4], and village code is 06532400.

Mirpur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Mirpur is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 972 and has total administration over 175 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Mirpur has 203 children, 109 boys and 94 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 39 (4.01%) males constitute 22 (2.26%) of the population and females 17 (1.75%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KAISERGANJ and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
