Structural Unemployment

From Conservapedia

Structural unemployment is unemployment that occurs when workers' skills do not match the jobs that are available. Structural unemployment typically occurs when there is a development of new technologies and the discovery of new resources. For example, two centuries ago people needed basic farming skills to survive. Today, service industries are rapidly replacing manufacturing industries. Structural unemployment can also occur to people who drop out of school and lack qualifications for the job market.
