Thor is a 2011Superhero film, based on the Thor comics of the same name. It is the fourth film to be set in the "Marvel Cinematic Universe" and was produced independently by Marvel Studios. In the "Avengers" film chronology, it is set during the events of Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk and prior to the events of The Avengers.
