James Baker (Missouri)

James O. Baker was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Missouri. Baker was defeated by Ann Wagner in the Republican primary on August 7, 2012.^[1]

Politico listed the 2nd District race as one of the top five primaries in the list 5 primaries to watch in 2012.^[2]

Baker is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and small business owner. He is a member of Grace Church-St. Louis, where he teaches Bible classes.^[3]

Baker ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Missouri's 2nd District. Baker faced Ann Wagner, John Morris and Randy Jotte in the Republican primary. Baker was defeated by Ann Wagner in the Republican primary on August 7, 2012.^[4]
