Datwas is a small village of 1521 hectares in Niwai Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Datwas depends on Niwai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 130.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Datwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Niwai and Tonk to sell agr.tools and make their living.
