Karauli is a small village of 194 hectares in Bidhuna Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karauli depends on Bidhuna (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Karauli is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karauli's pin code is 206255[4], and village code is 04111500. The area of Karauli is segregated as 137 hectares irrigated area. the 144 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 6 hectare area not available for cultivation.
The village is connected with a single bus service. Karauli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Karauli is a census village in the district of Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1435 and has total administration over 240 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 690 (48.08%) males constitute 375 (26.13%) of the population and females 315 (21.95%).

The workforce is 353 male, 73 female with 186 (43.66%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 162 males and 24 females. 57 males and 1 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 73 male and 5 female agricultural labor. 240 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bidhuna (NP) and Auraiya to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
