Morjai is a small village of 612 hectares in Vallabhnagar Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Morjai depends on Fatehnagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 100.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Morjai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The workforce is 375 male, 65 female with 370 (84.09%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 340 males and 30 females. 276 males and 25 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 21 male and 2 female agricultural labor. 70 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Fatehnagar and Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
