Sedimentary Rock

Sedimentary rocks are composed of small bits of rocks (mud, sand, gravel), and sometimes plants and/or animals, that have become 'cemented' together in layers over time.

Composed of bonded grains of eroded rocks. Many break in plate-like fragments.
