Sanawan is a small village of 0 hectares in Sirauli Gauspur Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sanawan depends on Tikait Nagar (N), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sanawan's pin code is 225415[4], and village code is 05797000. The area of Sanawan is segregated as 84.24 hectares irrigated area, 250.45 hectares unirrigated area. the 21.35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 5.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sanawan is a census village in the district of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1000 and has total administration over 204 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 296 male, 95 female with 337 (86.19%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 284 males and 53 females. 262 males and 26 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 13 male and 15 female agricultural labor. 54 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tikait Nagar (N) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
