SORRY! is a board game published by Hasbro (formerly Parker Brothers).
The purpose of the game is to move one's four colored (blue, green, red, or yellow) pieces from the START position to the HOME position, while attempting to keep the other player(s) from doing likewise, by bumping them off the board and back to the START position (while saying "Sorry!" in doing so).
Play is controlled by drawing a card. If a move can be made (even if disadvantageous to the player) it must be made, except for the swap option on the 11 card (see below); if no move can be made the turn ends. If a piece lands on the top square of a SLIDE zone (except one of its own color; a piece cannot slide on a SLIDE of its own color) the piece MUST slide, even if it causes pieces of the same color to be bumped back to START. The five squares adjacent to HOME constitute the "safety zone", a piece on any of those cannot be bumped back to START as they can only be landed on by a piece of the same color. Also, a piece cannot move forward onto or past the square with the same color diamond (located between the squares adjacent to START and the safety zone), but can move backward onto and past it.
The various cards are as follows (the numbers 6 and 9 are not used to avoid confusion):
