The United States District Court for the District of Potomac was a federal court from 1801 to 1802. It was created by the Judiciary Act of 1801 and had jurisdiction over the District of Columbia and areas in Virginia and Maryland. It was replaced by the United States Circuit Court of the District of Columbia.[1]
