Singer

A singer is a person who sings. Singers may be soloists, members of a small group (such as a quartet), or members of a choir.

A singer normally follows the melody line in a musical arrangement, although the term singer may be used of rap musicians, where there is little melody but rather a rhythmic arrangement.
