A "yes" vote supported requiring academic instruction to be in English and providing for an intensive one-year English immersion program with waivers available to those who can speak English, are over the age of 10, or have special needs.

A "no" vote opposed requiring academic instruction to be in English and providing for an intensive one-year English immersion program with waivers available to those who can speak English, are over the age of 10, or have special needs.
