Sahewa is a small village of 954 hectares in Atarra Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sahewa depends on Banda (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sahewa's pin code is 210120[4], and village code is 04820200. The area of Sahewa is segregated as 564 hectares irrigated area, 307 hectares unirrigated area. the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 74 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Sahewa has One post office (Sahewa B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Sahewa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sahewa is a census village in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2906 and has total administration over 498 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Sahewa has 453 children, 250 boys and 203 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 572 (19.68%) males constitute 305 (10.50%) of the population and females 267 (9.19%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1353 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 803 male, 550 female with 1181 (87.29%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 761 males and 420 females. 610 males and 356 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 92 male and 54 female agricultural labor. 172 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banda (MB) and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
