Niger River

The Niger River is the primary river in western Africa, running through the country of Niger, and also through Guinea, Mali, along the border with Benin and then through Nigeria. It discharges into the Gulf of Guinea.

The Niger is the third longest African river, after the Nile and the Congo (Zaire) River.
