Abortion Debate

The abortion debate consists of the ongoing political conflict between the billion-dollar abortion industry and its allies and the pro-life citizenry.

The conflict has increased in national significance with each passing year. The decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in Roe v. Wade on January 22, 1973, placed the abortion debate squarely within the national spotlight, and has been the subject of an annual March for Life on the anniversary ever since.
