Lindisfarne Gospels

From Conservapedia

The Lindisfarne Gospels comprise a 1,300-old beautifully illustrated book, nearly perfectly preserved, which was the work of an abbey on the tidal island of Lindisfarne (also known as the "Holy Island"), which is shortly off the northeast coast of England.[1]

As to visitors to the tidal island, "On a regular basis visitors and vehicles are rescued after becoming stranded on the tidal causeway."[1] You have to understand the tides or else the saltwater will ruin the car.
