Thali is a small village of 1344 hectares in Jamwa Ramgarh Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Thali depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Thali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Thali's pin code is 303001[4], and village code is 01598500. The area of Thali is segregated as 269 hectares irrigated area, 573 hectares unirrigated, the 164 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 97 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Thali has One post office (Thali B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Thali has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Thali is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3583 and has total administration over 564 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Thali has 527 children, 274 boys and 253 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 668 (18.64%) males constitute 347 (9.68%) of the population and females 321 (8.96%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1051 (29.33%) males constitute 545 (15.21%) of the population and females 506 (14.12%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1763 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1008 male, 755 female with 842 (47.76%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 600 males and 242 females. 304 males and 205 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 26 male and 9 female agricultural labor. 921 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dausa and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
