Tropic Of Cancer

The Tropic of Cancer is the line of latitude at 23°30'N. It forms the northern boundary of the tropics, which extends south to the Tropic of Capricorn. On the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere, the sun appears directly overhead at noon.
