Sheopura is a small village of 351.7 hectares in Balrampur Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sheopura depends on Tulsipur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sheopura's pin code is 271207^[4], and village code is 06624700. The area of Sheopura is segregated as , 297.98 hectares unirrigated area. the 1.17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 50.09 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sheopura is a census village in the district of Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 4256 and has total administration over 667 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 1299 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1021 male, 278 female with 758 (58.35%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 586 males and 172 females. 124 males and 40 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 206 male and 87 female agricultural labor. 541 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tulsipur (NP) and Balrampur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
