Korai is a small village of 1019 hectares in Kiraoli Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Korai depends on Fatehpur Sikri , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,One canal and Two springs. Korai is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Korai's pin code is 283110[4], and village code is 01593100. The area of Korai is segregated as 811 hectares irrigated area, 10 hectares unirrigated, the 34.19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 118 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Korai has One post office (Korai B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Korai has One bank and One credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Korai is a census village in the district of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 4057 and has total administration over 611 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 779 (19.20%) males constitute 405 (9.98%) of the population and females 374 (9.22%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1145 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 957 male, 188 female with 906 (79.13%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 860 males and 46 females. 347 males and 18 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 121 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 239 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Fatehpur Sikri and Agra to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
