Mother

From Conservapedia

A mother is the female parent of a child. Typically the term mother refers to a woman, a human female parent, unless otherwise stated. An example of a great, biblical mother is given in Proverbs 31. A well-known biblical mother is Mary, the mother of Jesus.[1][2]

The Bible states that one must honor thy mother and thy father, meaning that individuals must respect their parents—a blessing of long life is offered to those who do this.[3][4] The Old Testament law prescribed death as the punishment for cursing one's mother.[5]
